Wedding & Events
Weddings, along with births, are the oldest occasion to fold a paper crane. In Japan, it is said that whoever folds a thousand cranes (senbazuru) will have a wish granted — tradition has it that newlyweds receive them as a gift, as a symbol of peace, longevity, and happiness for their new life together.
At orizuru, each piece is hand-folded from Japanese paper specially chosen for the occasion. Our origamis can grace your celebration in various ways.
Table Decoration
The Crane Garland makes for an elegant and symbolic table runner. For a more understated centerpiece, a Crane or a Swan placed on each plate adds a refined and handmade touch.
A bouquet or multiple small bouquets of Lily Flowers bring an elegant and everlasting touch to your table.
This way, you'll keep a memento of your wedding or event.
Place Cards & Guest Favors
An origami Heart or Star with each guest's name: a place card that becomes a keepsake to take home.
All our pieces can be customized — paper color, handwritten note — to match your desired palette.
Bulk Orders
A wedding often involves 50 to 200 pieces. We gladly prepare orders of this volume: choice of paper and colors, lead time to be agreed upon according to the event date (allow 3 to 4 weeks for large quantities).
For a quote or to discuss your project, contact us specifying the event date, the desired number of pieces, and the color palette. We will get back to you with a tailor-made proposal.
